The title for my blog comes from a Joni Mitchell song called Little Green. It was popular in 1969 when my first daughter Thess, was born. I really wanted to name her little green, but chose not to be quite so off-beat. I still love the innocence and beauty of the song and the sweet thoughts it creates in my mind. I hope this will set a context for my blog and will remind me to notice beauty, sweetness and innocence.

little green would have been a lovely name. I have an album of Joni Mitchell and James Taylor singing together live and it is so lovely. I'm such a fan of simple productions in music, especially with such lovely voices and feeling.
