Retirement

I know I'm way too young to retire, but I've done it anyway! Yesterday was my last day of work at Henderson & Shelton, Lawyers. I've worked there for almost 8 years, ever since we moved to Olympia in 2002. The people working there changed many times, but each group had its own dynamics, mostly good, just a few bumps!
Today was a lunch at Budd Bay for a retirement celebration. Steve, Stu, Judy, Diana, Corrie, BJ, April, Sarah and Dione were all there and it was a good time, many laughs and a few tears.

Now it's on to defining the rest of my life. It's up to me to create a purpose(s) to fulfill my life. When you are working for someone else, they tend to define your purpose for 8+ hours a day, now I'll see what and who I really am. Wish me luck

Thanks Leah for reading the blog. I'm planning on putting more time into it in the future. It's kind of fun.

An ending of one 'you', and the beginning of another. Maybe the natural one.

How wonderful that you are able to retire! I think I will have to work until the day I die!
